WELCOME! Trust me, you want the truth

Why do you have to be a member to read this blog? Because I am about to get real with you, and if I am going to do that, I need to know you are in the "circle of trust"

How many times have I sat there glassy eyed, wondering if other trainers struggle as much as I do? Then later feeling like I am on top of the world.

I feel that often many people feel that if they are struggling then they must not be good at what they do, or that they are not on the right path. That because it is hard, it is not the right thing to do.

There are two major issues at play here. The first one being that we see the top riders winning, competing, and smiling in ads and on podiums. We do not see the struggle it took to get there. We do not see the tears, blood, sweat, sacrifices, and heartbreak that each athlete went through (secret: still going through) to get there. We see ease, privilege, opportunities, and the "right stuff." The second issue being social media. We see the few perfect (or crafted to look perfect) moments posted. By the way, I am not giving anyone permission to air their dirty laundry on social media. Social media is a wonderful tool to share our glorious moments. It is a glimpse into the life that we make for ourselves, but does not always reflect the moments that hurt to get there.

These two issues sometimes can derail a struggling athlete pushing their way up the ranks of this sport. Top athletes are now coming forward and sharing the struggle that they experience as they climbed the ladder. They are now realizing how important it is to the future of the sport to share the dark moments.

I to realize that you all need a place to go to read a truthful progression of training and competition. That with the roses also comes some thorns. Repeat after me..."IT IS OK TO STRUGGLE." Say it again. If you never struggle, how do you learn... if you are not forced to learn, then how do you grow?

Join me on the journey and find the inspiration and motivation that you need to keep pushing and growing. It is going to be a long road, but with determination and grit growth is inevitable. With growth comes progress.

I am always happy to talk with any of you who are feeling the pain of growing. Sometimes you just need to know that someone has been or is going through the same type of growth and there is light at the end of the tunnel. As long as you are breathing, there is room for growth, so buckle in because this is going to be a crazy ride of glory and pain. Seek self improvement, knowledge, fitness, and growth and you will automatically follow the path you are meant to be on.

Join our online community today to share growth, and of course, glory moments with all of us.
